Teen Bike Shop (Resource)

Teens: Fix it, Keep it!

Join Union City's Teen Workshop ("Bike Shop") where teens can fix bikes for the community. Want a bike, no problem - fix one, then keep it ! It's a great way for teens to have fun, make friends, and develop bike mechanic skills.

Located at 33623 Mission Boulevard, Union City, all the excitement takes place in an rustic commercial car garage decorated with murals. Teens do basic repair work: change inner tubes, fix brakes, change tires, change pedals, and basic tune-up repair. If you're an adult and want to support this wonderful program, the workshop sells used youth and adults bikes and bike parts; or, you can become a volunteer.

Cruise on by and check things out. Spread the word!
